The University of Petroleum and Engineering Studies (UPES) is a private university in Dehradun established in 2003. It was established through the UPES Act, 2003 by the Uttarakhand State Legislature. UPES MBA Application Process 2022

The application process that candidates have to follow for applying for the MBA programme at UPES is given below.

Step 1 - UPESMET Registration

• Visit the official website of the UPES - https://www.upes.ac.in/.
• Now, go to the admission tab and click on "Apply Now" available there.
• The UPESMET application form will open.
• Enter personal information such as name, parents' name, date of birth, email ID, contact number, category, nationality, etc.
• You will receive an OTP after submitting the information. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and proceed to fee payment by clicking on "Next".

Step 2 - UPESMET Application Fee Payment

• Pay the application fee for the UPESMET exam, i.e, Rs. 1,350 using a credit/debit card or net banking.

Step 3 - Fill Up Academic Details

• On this page, provide information about Class X, XII and Graduation such as passing year, marks obtained, etc.
• Click on "Next" after entering all the educational qualification-related information.

Step 4 - Complete Application

• Fill in all the mandatory information to submit the application form.
• After submitting the form, you will receive an application number and password. These credentials will also be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number.

UPES MBA Selection Process 2022

The selection of candidates for the MBA programme at UPES will be done based on the candidate's score in UPESMET/CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT followed by the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview.

UPESMET

• UPESMET is an online proctored test conducted for 2 hours.
• It contains 4 sections and carries 140 marks.
• Every question of the UPESMET carries 1 mark and no score will be reduced for incorrect answers.

UPES MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022

• All the candidates must have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or institute with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.

Scholarships

Academic Scholarship

• This scholarship will be awarded to up to 10% of top performers of the UPES entrance exam. The total number of available scholarships is 1900 of which 50% are reserved for girls.
• This scholarship will be offered in the range of 20% to 100% on 1^st Semester tuition fee.
• Students have to secure a minimum of at least 8.5 CGPA/SGPA every semester for the scholarship renewal.

33% Fee Concession for Uttarakhand Students
