The Business Administration Programme was launched in 1984 by considering the needs of the Odisha students with an objective to groom students for managerial positions in business, public systems and industries. Utkal University MBA Application Process 2022

MBA Regular and MBA in Rural Management

Candidates have to fill up the online application form for appearing for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) for getting admission to Utkal University for a regular MBA programme.

• Visit the site - https://pg.samsodisha.gov.in/ and register yourself if you are a new user by providing essential information.
• You will receive an OTP, enter it to confirm your registration.
• After this, sign in with your registered mobile number and password, and you will land on the SAMS PG college admission dashboard.
• Now, click on the application form link in the dashboard and start filling in the basic details, personal details, identification details and address for correspondence.
• Click on ok to proceed to the next details and enter the reservation and weightage details.
• Proceed further to enter educational details and upload photos and bank information.
• Select the checkbox after verifying all the information you have provided and agree to the terms and conditions.
• Click on the submit button to proceed to fee payment.
• Pay the application fee of Rs. 900/- using a Credit/Debit Card or SBI E-pay.

Registration

• Candidates should have a valid email ID and mobile number to register themselves.
• On the registration page, candidates have to select the course applied, subject from the drop-down menu.
• Candidates have to enter their name, date of birth, and captcha and click on the register button to get themselves registered.
• Candidates have to provide OTP received after clicking on the register to complete registration and proceed to fee payment.

Payment Procedure

• Candidates have to finish the fee payment through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking or SBI E-pay.
• Now, candidates will receive an e-receipt generated from the system with a reference number and this number is essential while filling out the application form.
• Candidates will receive a login ID and password within two working days.

Filling Up the Form

• Candidates should visit https://utkaluniversity.nic.in/eadmission/# after getting the login ID and password to fill up the application form.
• Candidates have to submit the application form online after filling in the necessary information.

Note

• Candidates cannot take printouts of the form if their results are awaited.
• Candidates have to submit the filled-in application form with their signature along with the relevant documents.

MBA (Agri-Business)

Students can apply to CAM after taking either of the examinations mentioned below.

• UMAT, Or
• National Tests like CAT/CMAT/GMAT/XAT/ICAR-AIEEA PG/TISS NET.

The application process involves the following steps.

• Visit the official website - www.camutkal.ac.inhttp://www.camutkal.ac.in and click on the apply option available on the homepage.
• You will be directed to a new page where you have to fill in personal, and educational details and upload certain documents mandated by the authorities.
• Fill out the form with the necessary information and proceed to fee payment.
• The application fee for applying for the programme is Rs. 600/- and can be paid using a Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Utkal University MBA Selection Process 2022

The Utkal University selection process for business administration programmes is given below.

MBA (Regular) and MBA (Rural Development)

• Admission will be provided for the students based on CPET 2022.
• CPET - Common PG Entrance Test of Odisha is conducted by the SAMS Higher Education Department.
• The CPET exam contains 70 multiple-choice questions and carries 70 marks.
• Based on the college options given by candidates while filling out the application form, the participating universities release a separate selection list.
• Candidates whose names have been included in the selection list have to proceed with the counselling process to confirm admission.

Executive MBA

• Candidates will be selected for admission by considering their Career, Work Experience and Interview.

MBA (Financial Management)

• Candidates will be selected for admission to this programme based on their performance in the Entrance Test, Personal Interview and the Group Discussion.
• The entrance test will be conducted by the Department of Commerce, Utkal University and it contains objective-type questions.
• Based on entrance test scores, candidates will be short-listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews.

MBA (Agri-Business)

• Candidates will be short-listed for the interview based on their score in CAT/CMAT/GMAT/XAT/ICAR-AIEEA PG/TISS NET. Candidates who have not appeared for any of these can appear for UMAT conducted by the CAM, Utkal University.
• The final selection of candidates will be based on entrance scores, career marks and performance in the interview.

MBA (Financial Management)

• Candidates who have passed Graduation with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from Utkal University or any other recognized university or institute can apply.

Sponsored Course Under PPP

MBA (Agri-Business)

• Candidates who have completed their B.Sc in Agriculture or Allied Subjects/Science/Management/Commerce/B.Tech/B.E from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification in any discipline with an aggregate of at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from an institute or university recognized by the UGC/AICTE/ICAR. Students who have studied Graduation with agriculture and allied areas will be given preference.
• Final-year students can also apply.
