Chandigarh University is a private university that offers various UG and PG programmes to eligible students. It was established on July 10, 2012 by an act of the Punjab State Legislature located in Mohali, Punjab. Candidates can apply for admission at Chandigarh University both in online and offline mode. The details of the Chandigarh University admission process are given below.

Online Mode

The steps involved in the online admission process of the MBA programme are given below.

Step 1 - Register at CUCET

  • Log on to the official website of Chandigarh University to commence the registration process.
  • Register yourself by filling in the details such as Name, Email, Contact Number and City. After this, select the discipline and programme you wish to apply for and click on register.
  • Once the above process gets completed, you have to complete your profile after logging in using your User ID and Password sent through SMS and Email. You can also use a registered Email ID as a username to log in.
  • You will receive a confirmation message on the successful completion of registration.

Step 2 - Download E-Prospectus

  • After registration, you have to download the e-Prospectus made available after the successful completion of registration.
  • After downloading the e-Prospectus, you have to fill out the application form for MBA admission and appear for CUCET.

Step 3 - Pay Fee Online

  • You can pay the registration fee via credit or debit card or net banking through the payment gateway.
  • To pay the registration fee, you need to visit the official website and log into their respective account.
  • You have to log in using the registered email ID or CUCET ID and password. You will proceed to the payment of the registration fee.
  • The process next requires you to fill out the application form available after logging in. You have to fill in personal and academic information.

  • CUCET will be conducted in different phases. Select the ongoing phase at the time of applying.

Offline Mode

  • Send duly filled MBA programme admission form with a DD of Rs. 1,000/- drawn in the favour of Chandigarh University payable at the following address.

Option 2 - Submit Admission Form

  • You can submit the admission form and receive a prospectus on payment of Rs. 1,000/- from the Campus of Chandigarh University or any local admission office of the University.

Candidates have to appear for the CUCET examination to get admission to the MBA programme.

CUCET - Chandigarh University Common Admission Test

  • The CUCET is an objective type examination conducted for providing admission to the MBA programme.
  • The CUCET exam contains questions from 4 different sections and carries 100 marks.
  • 2 hours or 120 minutes is the time allocated for completing the CUCET exam.
  • Every question carries 1 mark and no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Chandigarh University MBA Eligibility 2022

The eligibility criteria details for MBA admission at Chandigarh University are given below.

Programme Eligibility
Banking and Financial Engineering
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of at least 55% marks from a recognized university or institute. Candidates with a Commerce background will be preferred.
  • Graduates of CA or ICWA etc can also apply.
Business Analytics
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of 55% marks. In addition, students must have studied Statistics or Mathematics or Quantitative Techniques as one of the subjects at Class XII or Graduation level.
  • Graduates of CA, CS or ICWA, etc are also eligible to apply.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Bachelor's Degree or it's equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% marks. Graduates of CS, ICWS, CA, etc are eligible for applying.
Tourism and Hospitality Management
  • Bachelor's Degree or it's equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of 45% marks.
FinTech
  • Bachelor's Degree or it's equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of at least 55% marks. Students with a Commerce background will be preferred.
Digital Marketing
  • All the students must have completed their Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized institution or university.
  • Also, graduates of recognized professional programmes such as ICWA or CA, etc can apply for MBA admission at Chandigarh University.
