Allahabad University
One of the prestigious universities and the fourth-oldest in the nation, Allahabad University was established in 1887. In India, it is ranked 39th position. The university received a "B" grade from NAAC. it obtained a QS 2020 Overall Score of 90. The university offers a wide range of UG, PG and PhD courses. The MBA offered by the university is a 2-year full time course. The university will administer the PGAT entrance exam for MBA admission. It also provides student with various specializations including rural development. There are a total of 57 seats available in MONIRBA and 57 seats in GBPSSI. The admissions for 2022 is currently open.
Application Process

Steps involved-
- Open the above link and click on apply online”.
- Enter all necessary personal data. Then, give academic information.
- The appropriate location on the application form must be filled out with the scanned copy of the applicant's photo and signature according to the requirements.
- After completing the application form, the candidate can preview it by clicking the button labelled "preview application form."
- Carefully check all the details and proceed to payment.
- Payment is online and can be done via Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. The application is INR 1500/- for general category and INR 750/- for SC/ST.
- A generated application id will be mailed to you. Candidates are requested to take a print out the application form.

Selection Procedure
The University will conduct an entrance exam and an oral test before granting admission.
Step 1: application review
All the submitted application will be reviewed by the committee. All applications that the university has received that are legitimate will have their admit cards processed and made available online. Once the candidates have entered their Application ID and birthdate, they can download hisher admit cards from the website. All of the valid applications' admit cards will then be uploaded.
Step 2: Entrance Exam
The written exam is given in a number of locations across the nation. There will be 600 marks on the test.

Step 3: Oral test
The selected candidates will receive an oral test call. There will be two parts to the oral test, which will have a total of 100 points.
- Group Leadership (50 marks): In order to assess a candidate's leadership skills, group dynamics, and group behavior, candidates will be placed in realistic groups and asked to participate in discussions about predetermined topics.
- Individual Interview (50 marks)
The merit list would be based on the written and oral tests, which can each receive up to 600 points and 100 points, respectively.
Shortlisted selected candidates can secure their seat by paying fees.

Eligibility Criteria
- At least 27 years old must be the applicant's age on July 1st of the admission year.
- To start applying for this exam, candidates must be citizens of India.
- Candidates must have finalized graduate degree (for a sufficient period of three years) from a government-approved institution in any stream, or an equivalent, in order to be eligible for enrollment to the MBA programme.
- The candidates must have graduated with at least a 55 percent average (5 percent relaxation for reserved category).
- Final-year students are allowed to apply for this undergraduate examination as long as they receive hisher final graduation pass result no later than the deadline set by the university.

Placement
- Students in the 2nd semester who have no backlogs from any of the past semesters are qualified to apply for the placements. A third to a fourth of the class is placed through campus placements. The performance of the enrolled batch and the academic achievements of the students determine how this ratio changes each year.

Cut Offs
The AU PGAT cutoff is affected by a number of variables, including the number of open seats, the exam's degree of difficulty, and the total number of applicants.

Scholarships
General Standards for Scholarship Awards
- The applicant ought to have succeeded on their first try at the test.
- Prior to receiving the scholarship funds, the candidate has to be a full-time student in good standing (minimum attendance of 75% must be verified by the Head of the Concerned Unit).
- In the event of a tie, the applicant whose performance in the preceding class or degree was better will receive the scholarship.
