- The Placement Office of the institute sends invitations via post or mail along with the institute brochure and JAF for all the companies interested in hiring students from the campus.
- The Training and Placement Cell of the NIT Puducherry establishes contacts with companies regarding the hiring process. Eligible students should register for the respective companies.
- The placement office allocates a suitable date after consulting the companies for conducting online tests and interviews.
- The placement policy of NIT Puducherry is "one student one job". After the completion of the selection process, the organization should announce the final list of selected students.
