Annamalai University

In Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, there is the Annamalai University, a state-run institution of higher learning. It is acknowledged by the UGC and given an "A" grade of accreditation by the NAAC. In both online and brick-and-mortar colleges, it offers UG, PG, and diploma programmes. The two-year MBA training is held by the School of Arts at Annamalai University. The university also provides an MBA programme with two specialization options, giving candidates the freedom to choose between the two. Both full time and part time is allowed. The submission procedure is open.

Application Process

The Annamalai University's official website is where applicants submit their applications for the class of 2022. A separate application form must be filled out for each course if a candidate wishes to enroll in more than one of Annamalai University's courses.

Step 1: Registration

Visit Annamalai University's website for more information (www.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in). Select "Admissions On-Campus Portal" from the homepage. The programme you want to apply for can be found under the "New Applicant" tab. The sign-up page appears.

Step 2: Fill Up the form

Enter information such as your name, birthdate, phone number, email address, etc. Make an alphanumeric password as well for upcoming logins. Once finished, click the "Submit" button.

Application for Annamalai University is now available. Other information should be entered, such as personal data, credentials, guardian information, etc.

Step 3: Application Fee

The entrance fee for candidates in the general category is INR 600. SC and ST candidates pay INR 300 for the exam fee.

Decide on a payment option. When making an offline payment, go to your local ICICI bank to make a net banking deposit.

Step 4: Documents upload

Upload a passport-size photo that is less than 50 kb in size in JPEG or JPG format, along with all the necessary documents in PDF format.

Documents needed to be uploaded are-

• Class X and Class XII marksheets and certificates
• UG/ PG mark sheets (if applicable)
• Date of Birth proof
• Migration Certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Medical Certificate
• Extra-curricular activity certificate
• Passport size photograph

Step 5: Printout

Print a copy of the application form to finish the application process and keep it for future reference.

Last date for online application is 8^th August, 2022.

Selection Procedure

• The following criteria are used to select the students applying to Annamalai University's MBA programmes:
• Graduation scores
• Entrance exam score

Admission to Annamalai University is based on entrance exam score (TANCET scores). For applying for TANCET, please visit tancet.Annauniv.edu

There are in total 5 sections with 20 questions each. Sections are Quantitative Aptitude, Business Situation Analysis, Reading Comprehension, General English, and Data Sufficiency and Reasoning.

• Personal Interview- shortlisted candidates according to above-mentioned criteria will be called in for interview. Students must bring all necessary documentation to the counselling session in order to be verified.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the personal interview can proceed to fees payment.

Fees Structure

Tuition fees of first year is INR 57,050/

Tuition fees of second year is INR 55,850/-

Total tuition fees of the course is 1.13 Lakhs.

The above charges are excluded from hostel and mess charges.

Miscellaneous charges are also not added.

Eligibility Criteria

• For general category applicants, a degree is required in any subject with just a requirement of 50% marks is required; for applicants from reserved categories, a minimum of 45% marks is required.
• Passing a qualifying degree examination with a minimum grade point average of 50% (or 45% for candidates from the reserved categories of BC, BCM, MBC, and DNC, SC, SCA, and ST) in a recognized bachelor's degree with a minimum duration of 3 years.

Important Dates

• Online registration started on 11^th July, 2022
• Last date of online application process is 5^th August, 2022
• Rank list will be declared on 25^th August, 2022
• Payment and filling of choices starts on 6^th September, 2022 upto 8^th September, 2022
• Release of tentative allocation will be on 9^th September, 2022
• Tentative Allotment Confirmation will be on 10^th September, 2022
• Release of the provisional allocation on 11^th September, 2022
• Supplementary counselling will be conducted on 14^th September, 2022
• Counselling will end on 15^th September, 2022

Placement

According to the NIRF 2022 report, students in the PG programme received a median package worth INR 10.14 LPA, while students in the UG programme received a median package worth INR 9.72 LPA.

Recruiting companies are HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, TCS,TATA Consultancy, Vedanta, JSW Group, Byju’s, Yes Bank, Wipro, Colgate Palmolive, Reliance Retail, The Minimalist, Caspian Debt, Kotak Bank, Ting, ET Now, HP, etc.

Scholarship

Concession of Application Fees: With the aid of this programme, all members of the Annamalai University's Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe groups, including students who have converted to Christianity, are able to fill out their entrance application forms without paying any fees.

Concession on tuition fees: Students from the SC/ST castes who have parents with annual incomes under 2,50,000 INR are eligible for the aforementioned special scholarship, under which they are given tuition without having to pay any fees.

Minority scholarship: Students from lower castes are given these scholarships based on their merit lists.

Scholarship for higher education: This scholarship is awarded to hostel students who fall under the schedule tribes and scheduled tribe categories in compliance with the post-merit scholarship. There aren't many scholarships available in this category. Parents of students who earn less than 2 lakhs annually are qualified.

Scholarship for a single female student pursuing a graduate degree: This specific scholarship is only available to students who are their parents' only children. These students must also apply for admission to the Annamalai University's regular full-time M.A. programme.

Post-High School Scholarship Program: Only UG, PG, M.Phil, DNP, and PhD programmes are eligible for this scholarship. The candidate's family income must be less than Rs . 2 lakhs, and they must have received a minimal level aggregate of 50% on their final exam from the year prior.

Educational Loan: Banks, including lenders like Asix, Avanse, and Credila, offer low-interest educational loans to Annamalai University students. These loans must be repaid within seven years.
