About the University and Course

GLS University was established with the aim of providing an ingenious and perfect environment for learning. It is known to be one of the oldest as well as largest educational Institutions in Gujrat. The University offers a 2 years MBA program that is divided into 4 semesters. The program focuses on the student's professional development. The Masters in Business Administration course empowers students for becoming successful professionals in the world of business.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates can apply for the course online mode by visiting the University website. Here are the broad steps that applicants can be mindful of for online registration:

• The applicant has to register using their email address through which all the communications from the University will be conducted.
• It should be noted that if the mobile or email id is registered already to some other program then the same mobile and email cannot be used for registering to this program.
• The applicant can log in to their account and apply for diverse programs offered by the University.
• The application fee for each group of the program is Rs 300 and the candidate can apply to multiple programs by paying the fees for each. Depending on the selection, the system shall automatically total the sum to be paid for moving forward with the application process.
• After selection of the program, the candidate can continue to fill out the application form along with uploading of required documents and certificates.
• It should be noted that all those fields that are marked with an asterisk (*) are compulsory.
• After the registration process has been completed successfully and payment is done, the candidate shall receive a UAN, that is, a Unique Application Number to their registered email address.

Admission Procedure

Admission to GLSs' MBA program is through the CMAT exam. This exam is further followed by the centralized admission process through the Gujrat government's appointed admission committee.

Fee Structure

The fee structure of the two Institutes, NRIBM and GLSICT-MBA for the years 2022-2023 as decided by the Gujrat Governments' Fee Regulatory Committee is given below:

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the MBA program at GLS University are given below:

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• The applicant must be having a bachelor's degree of at least three years from a recognized University.
• The applicant must have attained a minimum of fifty per cent in the qualifying exams. These shall be forty-five per cent at least for candidates from the reserved category.

Various different organizations come for the recruitment process and a few of these prominent organizations include:

• According to the placements reports of batch 2020-2022, more than 200 companies visited for recruitment.
• The process of placement takes place from September to June.
• About 95% of students got offer letters.
• The highest salary package went up to 9LPA.
• The average salary package offered was 4LPA.
• The various sectors for which recruitment took place included banking, automobile, HR, media, education etcetera.

GLS is a private university and is recognized by the University Grants Commission. Gujarat Law Society has been awarded various prestigious awards, a few of these are listed below:

• Indian Achievers Form awarded GLS with the ‘Gold star Award’ for their excellence in education.
• Awakening India for Modifying Society, that is, AIMS forum awarded GLS ‘Best Educationalist Award’.

Specialization

The two years course is divided into 4 semesters. In the first year, each semester shall be having eight courses that help in building a foundation for the various aspects of subjects. In the second year, there are multiple electives and three concentration area subjects. These three include:
