Number of Students Placed

NU has completed its placement drive for the class of 2021, with 100% of students placed and 127 offers were received. There was a total of 70 companies that participated in the placement drive, with 44% of them being first-time recruiters.

Placement Assistance

NIIT University takes great pride in their placement assistance as it holds a track record of 100% placement to all its students over a long time. It has over 700 active company partners including TCS, Morgan Stanley and Deloitte, to Zomato and Big Basket. NIIT emphasizes holistic development of its students which prepares them for the real-world challenges in the future. NIIT’s meticulous placement process shapes and builds the corporate mindset of the students. NU’s Career Development Council (CDC) and Centre for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) are the ones responsible for shaping the students.

NIIT University’s Resonance is an induction programme for the first-year undergraduate students where a two-day workshop is conducted by the faculty members. The objectives of this workshop include the following:

• To help students develop a sense of inner connection.
• To inspire students to think carefully on their life's meaning outside of school while putting their professional selves first.
• To enable students to develop and build a vision of their professional career.
• To equip students with resources they can use to continue to develop their vision and action plan.

The interactive workshop helps figuring out the goals and aspirations of the students from day one and thus making the whole academic course effective. The Design My Future initiative runs throughout the undergraduate and MTech programmes. Individual career counselling and guidance are provided to the young students by NU faculty, mentors from our Centre for Industrial Collaboration, and external experts.

NU Career Development Council (CDC) helps students to bridge the gap of competency through various Career Development Activities. It offers workshops on interview skills and resume writing, as well as mock interviews and group discussions, as well as placement advice and mentoring from faculty and practising managers from industry.
