Bennett University MBA

Bennett University is a private university, founded by Times of India Group, is located in Greater Noida. It was founded in 2016, and as of this writing it is ranked 323 in India. A total of 2 years is required to complete the MBA program. Part -time is not allowed. There are 60 seats available for intake in all. It provides concentrations in business analytics, finance, BFSI marketing, and media management. The admissions for 2022-2023 batch are currently open.

Application Procedure

The application process is online. Candidates can register by visiting the official course website at https: //applications.bennett.edu.in/bu. The minimum eligibility criteria include a bachelor degree of minimum 50% aggregate. Apart from academic merit, scores of entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, etc. is also required. Candidates who have not cleared the above-mentioned examination must clear BUMAT which is conducted by the university itself. Candidates need not be waiting for the results as they can submit it later also. The application fee is 1000 INR and is non-refundable which can either be paid via net banking or via DD. The date of commencement of program is Jul y 22,2022. The application process started on 19 May 2022 and will end on 27 Nov 2022.

Final year graduates can also apply.

• Photocopy of class XII marksheet and certificate
• Graduation mark-sheet and certificate.
• Caste certificate.
• Migration certificate.
• Scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature.

Selection process

The selection is based on academic merit. Valid scores in CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT are also required. The university also conducts its own entrance exam called BU MAT which consists of four sections, namely, numerical aptitude, comprehension of reading, reasoning / logical aptitude and verbal capacity. The exam is conducted in online mode with a duration of 150 minutes. There will be total of 200 questions carrying 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

After this, candidates will be called in for group discussion and personal interview. Personal interview will be conducted in the university and will be on the basis of merit plus entrance score.

At the end of personal interview, a final list is made and selected candidates can pay their fees.

For twin sharing hostel, cost annually is ?1,75,000/-

The above-mentioned fees are excluded from other miscellaneous charges.

• Graduation with minimum 50% marks.
• Any recognized and approved Indian or foreign university may award a degree.
• Qualified entrance exams like CAT, MAT, NMAT, GMAT, BU MAT
• Age less than or up to 26 years as on start date of program.

• CAT exam notification is expected to be out by the end of July,2022. Result of CAT 2021 was declared on January 3,2022.
• NMAT 2022 was held from January 11 to 15, 2022.Result has been already declared.
• MAT 2022 CBT mode dates are Sept 4 and 18,2022
• BU MAT 2021 was held on July 6.

Scholarships

• Defence personnel scholarships- An additional 5% scholarship on the tuition fee is available on a first come, first served basis to the dependents of active-duty and retired members of the paramilitary and the defence services. The scholarship is valid for the duration of the entire program. There is also a merit scholarship in addition to this one. The total scholarship amount is limited to 100% of the cost of tuition.
• In addition to merit scholarship , single girl child can also get 15% scholarship only on first year fees.
• Merit Scholarships-Every year at the end of semester, one can get upto 10% fees relaxation for the upcoming semester if they score more than 8 CGPA.
• Alumni Scholarships-This is applicable for the entire duration and students can get 15% scholarships if they plan to do postgraduation/diploma at Bennett University itself.
• Merit Scholarship -

If students fail to maintain any of the above-mentioned scholarships irrespective of the reason, then they have to pay full fees for the course.
