Scholarships

Swami Vivekananda Govt. of West Bengal Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme:

Applicable to students who have scored at least 75% marks in Higher Secondary or Graduation examination.
Family income should be less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum.
Scholarship amount ranges from INR 12,000 to INR 60,000 per year depending on the course.

Hindi Scholarship Scheme:

For students who have passed the Higher Secondary or Graduation examination with Hindi as one of the subjects.
Studying law in Hindi medium.
Undergraduate students receive INR 300 per month, while postgraduate students receive INR 1000 per month.

Minority Scholarship Scheme:

For minority community students (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi).
Studying a technical or professional course such as law.
Must have scored at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary or Graduation examination.
Family income should be less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum.
Scholarship amount varies from INR 10,000 to INR 20,000 per year depending on the course.

DPI Special Stipend Scheme:

Provides financial assistance under Ad-hoc grant to economically backward students studying law or any other course in WBSU or any other state university in West Bengal.
Scholarship amount determined by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
