1. Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme:

• Applicable to: Undergraduate and postgraduate students in medical, engineering, nursing, paramedical, pharmacy and other professional courses.
• Scholarship amount: Rs. 8000 per month for undergraduates, Rs. 10000 per month for postgraduates.
• Eligibility:
  • Domicile of West Bengal.
  • Annual family income less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
  • Minimum 75% marks in the last qualifying examination.

1. Kanyashree Prakalpa:

• Applicable to: Female students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses in any stream.
• Scholarship amount: Rs. 2500 per year for undergraduates, Rs. 3000 per year for postgraduates.
• Eligibility:
  • Domicile of West Bengal.
  • Unmarried status.
  • Annual family income less than Rs. 1.2 lakhs.

1. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories pursuing post matriculation or post secondary courses in any stream.
• Scholarship amount: Varies from Rs. 230 to Rs. 1200 per month depending on the course and category of the student.
• Eligibility:
  • Domicile of West Bengal.
  • Annual family income less than Rs. 2 lakhs for SC/ST students and Rs. 1 lakh for OBC students.

Hostel Fee Structure-

• Triple Non-AC Room- The annual fee is INR 1,20,000.
• Triple AC Room- The annual fee is INR 1,44,000.
• Single AC Room- The annual fee is INR 1,80,000.

Additional Charges-

• There is a one-time refundable hostel caution fee of Rs. 25,000 for a single AC room and Rs. 15,000 for a triple AC or non-AC room.

Facilities-

• The hostels are well-equipped with necessary infrastructure.
• Each floor has 3-4 toilets.
• The rooms are large with aerated ventilation.
• Every room accommodates 2-3 students.
• The rooms are non-AC with attached toilet and bathroom.
