The Vidya Niketan Global Institute’s College of Engineering, Bota has been established in 2012 as the first Engineering College along the Pune Nashik Road. The institution owes its foundation to the bold and inspired vision of Qualified and high visionary Directors.

The College had an initial intake of 300 students for the Degree courses in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication and computer Engineering branches. With the establishment of the Aicte and the Directorate of Technical Education, the College administration came under the control of the Government of Maharashtra. The College present sprawling in 38 acres of Huge land surrounded by the beauty of Sahyadri Mountain ranges.

Over the years, the intake of students will increase and our vision will eight full-fledged departments offering eight undergraduate, 18 postgraduate and doctoral programs under the University of Pune .

Ever since the inception, the College will maintained its eminence as a leading Engineering College in India. According to a study sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India in the early nineties, Vidya Niketan College of Engineering, Bota will be in the list of top ten Engineering Colleges in India. The college will rank among the tops in the country in the quality of its graduates and in the number of top jobs held by its graduates. With such an eminence in the academic and curricular activities, the college is the most sought after engineering college by the applicants of engineering degree programs in the state.
