Established in the year 2002 by Ram Mohan Reddy, the college is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University, Andhra Pradesh.
It offers various modern facilities to its students such as hostels, labs, library, E-library etc. to all it students.
The college offers both under graduate and post graduate courses. The college is divided among 4 departments namely:
- Department of electronics and communication engineering
- Department of computer science and engineering
- Department of MBA
- Department of M.tech

Some of the major recruiters of the college are IBM, Infosys, Hyundai, Cognizant, Vodafone, Axis Bank etc.
Hostel and Facilities
Hostel
TRR College of Engineering has provided hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are well furnished. Each hostel is provided with 24 hr running water and electricity. There is a facility of medical assistant and security in every hostel.
Ro purifiers are installed in each hostel to provide students with cool and fresh drinking water. There are two bathrooms in each floor with the facility of hot water. Wi-Fi is also installed in every hostel to provide student with high speed internet access.
Each hostel has their own Dining hall and kitchen, where they serve delicious and healthy food to students. The diet plan is made keeping in mind the student’s health as well as taste of food. The diet plan is changed on Sundays as well as on special occasions.
Campus Facilities
The college campus is also provided with various facilities. There is banking facility as well as ATMs within the campus. There is an open auditorium as well.
The campus has an outdoor stadium where students can play various games. The students are provided with a reading room with LAN facility in there.
