The birth of this institution stems from the undaunted vision and efforts of our Founder Chairman Sardar Gurvinder Singh Bahra who had the vision to build a model Dental College for the betterment of Dental education and oral health services in the region.
The philosophy of Rayat Bahra group is to improve the quality of health care for the poor and rich alike by improving availability of specialized medical and dental services and making it possible for the rural population to avail this facility by reaching out to them. Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital, Mohali is approved by Dental Council of India, The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Govt. of India (Vide Letter No. V.12017/46/2008-DE dated 15-07-2011) and affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot with an intake capacity of 100 students. All the departments are well furnished and fully equipped with the latest and sophisticated equipments. Under the able guidance of Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Dr. Paramjit Singh (PVSM, AVSM, VSM, BAR) Director-Principal, the institute is ready to scale new heights.
