It is a private not for profit medical college which was established in the year 2006 with 150 MBBS undergraduate courses and is located on the Barnala Bathinda Highway in the Bathinda district of Punjab.

The campus is spread over 100 acre of land. The institute was established under the Adesh Institutions and is approved by the Medical Council of India and is permitted by the ministry of health and family welfare. Initially it was affiliated to the Baba Farid University of Health sciences and is now affiliated to the Adesh University, Bathinda.

It has been approved by the medical council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Recently, it was awarded the “Six Sigma Healthcare Excellence Award”, under the category “Best Healthcare Academic Institution of the Year” in December 2015.

It was also listed in the FAIMER World Dictionary of Medical Schools. The motto of the school is to provide the best quality education in the field of medical education to the students.

How to apply-

To apply online follow the steps as given below:

• Click on ‘New Registration’ at the university website.
• Fill in all the requisite details along with NEET Roll number and other details.
• Mode of payment – Challan of Rs.5000/- for general and Rs.2500/- for SC in university account in any branch of OBC bank or SBI bank.
• Display of merit list in your account

Admission procedure-

All the candidates who have qualified NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) have to apply for combined counseling conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

After the counseling results are announced, students have to submit Rs.4000/- (for general) /Rs.3000/- (for SC) at the University counter of Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and Adesh institute for dental sciences, wherever seat has been allowed along with the self-attested copies of required documents.

The campus is located on Barnala Bathinda highway in the district of Bhatinda, Punjab.

The campus is spread across 100 acres of land.

The campus provides the students with facilities like separate boys and girls hostel, gymnasium, library, port area, cafeteria, Auditorium, Medical and technological infrastructure.

Hostel

The hostel facility in Adesh medical college is available for both boys and girls. Each hostel has a superintendent and hostel wardens.

Some other facilities available in the hostel are air-conditioned rooms, the mess, RO drinking water and more.

The university provides various scholarships. Students from Veer Naris/Martyr’s families get up to 50% fee waive and students coming from families of ex-servicemen get up to 30% waiver.

Student Life

The college has various clubs and committees such as cultural club, hobby club, Student Council, curriculum committee, student welfare committee and more.

The college organizes and celebrates various events and activities throughout the year like the sports event, welfare practices and camps, award functions, dance events, fresher’s party and much more.
