Fee Structure of Central University Of Punjab (CUP) , Bathinda

1. Ph.D. Fellowships:

• Amount: Rs. 31,000 per month for the first two years, Rs. 35,000 per month for the third year onwards.
• Eligibility: Students admitted to Ph.D. programs.
• Subject to satisfactory academic performance and availability of funds.

1. Master's Programs Financial Aid:

• Amount: Rs. 3,000 per month for 10 months in a year.
• Eligibility: Needy and meritorious students enrolled in master's programs.
• Based on parents/guardians' income and academic performance.

1. Earn-While-You-Learn Scheme:

• Students can work up to 10 hours per week and earn Rs. 50 per hour.
• Aims to provide financial assistance and enhance student skills.

1. State and Central Government Scholarships:

• Includes Post-Matric Scholarship, National Fellowship, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship, Maulana Azad National Fellowship, etc.
• Eligibility criteria and application process vary by scheme.

Post-Graduate Scholarships

There are four hostels, two each for boys and girls, with a total capacity of 1816 students.

The hostels have computer labs, a common room, reading rooms and sports facilities. Three Badminton courts, one Volleyball court and one basketball court, each in the boys' and girls' Hostel have been constructed. Indoor games facilities like table tennis, chess, carom are available in the hostels. The university has a cafeteria near the student hostel area.

The hostel fee for both boys and girls is INR 22.80 K. The Central University of Punjab hostel fees is INR 13,400 at the time of admission. But from the 2nd semester onwards the fee is INR 8,400.
