The Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) is located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1957 by His Highness Sir Jiwaji Rao Scindia. MITS is a government-aided autonomous institute. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.

Campus spans approximately 47 acres. It offers bachelor's master's and doctoral degrees. The courses include Bachelor in Architecture and Master's in Computer Application. MITS provides 11 undergraduate programs and 18 postgraduate programs. The B.Tech program is its flagship course.

The faculty strength at MITS is around 180. Institute 500 seats available for undergraduate programs. It hosts different facilities like a central computer center, library, sports facilities, medical dispensary, hostels, guest house and a gymnasium.

Admissions depend on national entrance exams. MITS accepts JEE Mains scores for B.Tech and NATA scores for BArch For postgraduate courses GATE and CMAT scores are accepted.

MITS is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A++ grade. Many programs have accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
