About Geeta Institute of Law
Geeta Institute of Law has a unique distinction as one of the prestigious Law Institute in the state of Haryana, offering 5-years integrated BA.LLB (Hons.) program and LL.B 3 years program. The Institute is very well located on NH-1, G.T. Road Panipat, just 50 minutes run from Delhi, the capital of India. The institute was granted affiliation by the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2007 and affiliation has been approved by the Bar Council of India. The method of teaching in GIL includes lecture discussion, case law analysis, moot court training, project assignments, court visits, internship and legal aid programs and placement programs. The institute organizes seminars on issues of law and global concern on the national and international level, conduct clinical courses and train students in legal research and legal writing. By the time a student completes the program he/she will be fully equipped with the required theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of law to become a full-fledged responsible member of the legal profession.

Eligibility
1) 3 year Law Degree Course - A candidate who has graduated in any discipline from a recognized University can appear for L.L.B. course
2) Integrated Degree Program - Candidate must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam or an exam cosidered to be equivalnt to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam can enrol for integrated degree program (LLB and a first degree in any other subject).
Candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree after taking up other courses through distance mode are also considered eligible for integrated degree course. But those candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree through distance mode or from open universities without any basic qualification are not eligible for admission into law courses.
Minimum marks for admission into law courses -
1) 40% for SC/ST candidates
2) 45% for other candidates
