R. C. Institute of Technology, a venture of Ram Chandra Gahlot Trust, is a pioneer Institution in Delhi creating professionals in the field of Science & Management. RCIT was established with an objective to impart education in the field of Information Technology and Teacher Education with a practical approach, in turn catering to the needs of trade and industry to equip students with necessary skills, to encourage entrepreneurship and independence among students. The Institute is ISO 9001:2000 certified and was inaugurated by Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi. Institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

The organization strives to provide opportunity to the students for overall development. Co-curricular activities mainly include Debate, Song & Dance Competition, Speeches, seminars,etc. Students arec actively involved in extra curricular activities such as national level seminar, workshop, group discussion, excursion, technical fests & other inhouse programmes time to time to cater the needs of industry & society.
