Remarks

My college experience was great though the college can ugrade few facilities including the mess food and also on providing more exposure to the students like organizing industrial visits and trips. The college should also focus on foreign exchange plans.

Entrance Exam

The admission into the college is based on JEE mains score. The college has a great reputation when it comes to pharmacy courses and I am pursing the same.

Fees

The fee of the college including the hostel fee is around 80k per year. It is a decent amount when compared to other top colleges.

Placements

The placement is great at the college. The average package is around Rs 5,00,000 which is a good amount considering he/she is just starting their career. There were a lot of recruitment companies on the placement day. More than I had expected.

Hostel and Facilities

Rooms are provided on sharing basis. No individual rooms are provided by the university. The rooms are spacious and have all the basic facility. The fee of the hostel is around Rs 40k and the mess food is also good. Strudents can also go for PG’s which are near the university.

Alumni

Alumni are very helpful when it comes to the placement season. They provide the correct info about the requirements of the industry. Alumni meets are organized regularly.

Faculty

The faculties are very helpful they even help us in planning the fests and events.Most of the teachers are well qualifies and have Ph’D in their respective subject. They not even help us in classrooms but are also available post lectures. They even upload new and related content online so that students can access it from their home.

The universities organize a number of events. Here students can showcase their hidden talents.

Internships

The college offers internship opportunities and you also get stipend. I did my internship and was paid Rs 15k/month as a stipend. I also got to learn a lot.

Loans and Scholarships

The students can get loan facilities. Also, the college provide scholarship from 10% to 30% for students who have scored decent marks in the university entrance test or any other majot national level exam.

Remarks

Overall the college is a great place to study. The mess has amazing food, othe facilities include library, labs and more. Also, it obe of the top ranked college so placement is also good. Though, one should understand that the attendance criteria is pretty strict.

For some students the fee can be on the higher side. The college around 4 lakhs for the whole course including all other charges. Though, as compared to an engineering college, I think this fee is pretty descent considering the status of this college.

Placements

The average package of the college is around 4 lakhs. Though, this package may increase depending on the your score and companies for which you sit for in the recruitment. Over 70% of the student get placed and several top IT and non-IT companies come for recruitment.

Hostel and Facilities

The college has a number of hostel, I think 5. The fee for the hostel is around 70,000. Also, the college authorities organize various competitions and events. The food of the college is just eatable and not that great. Also, the best part about the hostel are the canteens. Some of them open till even untill early morning hours.

Alumni

The college alumni network is pretty strong. Various leactures and talks are organized by the college to make sure that alumni can share industry experience which will be beneficial for us. It might also give us an insight of what is happening in the industry.

Faculty

I think our college has one of the best faculties in the city. The faculty is well qualified with some of them even having over 30 years of teaching experience. They are available for us even after class for doubt clearing.

Campus Life

Academics

They are frequent but are necesaary , 2mid and a put followed by end sem with various quiz,assignments,presentations, etc so it is what which makes us to feel boredom or make us tired . But uts goid ti have as it makes us prepare. The course structure is very modern and updated with the current industry curriculum. The faculty pits focus on practical as well as theory learning. Though hardly any research initiative has been taken on, the management should focus on this. Also, the curriculum also helps us preparing for higher exams as well.

Internships

No internship is provided by the college. Though students have the option to go do internship from outside. But the college offers a training program and students have to pay for that training. But it is good learning experience and knowledgeable too.

Loans and Scholarships

The college does not offer any loan but you can get loan from pvt or govt banks due to the high reputation of the college. The college also does not have any scholarship schemes. Though govt scholarships are accepted in the college.

Remarks

My experience at the college has been one of the best experinces of my whole life. The faculty of the college fore me was good though i dont think many will agree with me as they were strict and most students were scared of them but since i was a good and bright students they loved and always pushed me towards my dreams

Entrance Exam

For admission into the M.tech course, the university accepts score of GATE examination. I have scored around 660 marks. For general Last student got admission was with score 510/1000.

Fees

During my time, I have paid around Rs 50k for the M.tech. This does not include any other fee. You can pay the fee through both online and offline mode. Coming to the fee, I think the fee is very feasible when you compare this to private or even some govt colleges.

Placements

The average package in my batch was 5 Lacks,macximus package was 15lacks by HSBC and out of 45 students 35 are placed in various software companies like IBM, TCS, Infosys, and anymore. Many start ups are also coming for campus recruitment.

Hostel and Facilities

Yes, there is hostel facility provided. The rooms are provided on sharing basis. Overall the facilities of the hostel are good. Though the mess food was not that great.

Alumni

Yes there is an alumni meet every year in the month of September. In this meeting the share their experience of campus placements and the also trains in various skills which may require for job interviews

Faculty

The faculty of my department were top notch. They are all from good universities and even there were some who were from IIT and NIT as well. A lot of them have PHD’s or are currently pursing PHD and even published some books on their subject.

Campus Life

Good place to explore yourself. You can involve in various activity like politics (Student leader election), photography, lead an event, Robotics, Programming and many more. Sports facility like badminton football and cricket is superb. tennis court is also available. sports facilities are pretty good. I Love the gym at UOH. facilities and maintenance in this gym is superb. GYM Instructor is also available in morning and evening.

Academics

The exam structure of the college is sometimes hectic. Hectic for technical students when other department students can enjoy CSE students have to solve their problem.

Internships

Many companies came for offering internships. Some of them were At University, HSBC, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, TCS, Microsoft. The stipend amount varies from company to company. The stipend of the college ranges from Rs 5k to 15k.

Loans and Scholarships

Various banks provide loan for this university. UOH also provides Scholarship of 1000 to all Not MTech Student. All MTech students get fellowship of 12,400 by MHRD.
