Banshi College of Education, Kanpur was established in 2005 is a self finance institute has been managed by Banshi Social Educational Trust and the college is a part of Banshi Group of Institutions. The institute is approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Northern Regional Committee, Jaipur. The College is affiliated to Chatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj (CSJM) University, Kanpur. Banshi College of Education is the only college in the city/ Kanpur University that has been accorded `A' grade status by the National and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
