1. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/OBC Students:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories.
• Expenses covered: Tuition fees and other expenses.
• Eligibility:
  • Passed the 10th or 12th class examination from a recognized board.
  • Secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Annual family income not exceeding Rs. 2 lakh for SC/ST students and Rs. 1 lakh for OBC students.
  • Not availing any other scholarship from any other source.

National Scholarship Portal (NSP): Various scholarships available on NSP funded by different ministries and departments of the central government. Some scholarships include:

• Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students:
  • Applicable to: Students who have passed the 12th class examination with at least 80% marks and are pursuing a regular degree course.
  • Expenses covered: Varies based on year of study.
  • Eligibility: Indian citizen, Annual family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakh.
• Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles (PMSS-CAPFAR):
  • Applicable to: Wards of personnel of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Assam Rifles (AR) who have died in harness or have been disabled due to causes attributable to government service.
  • Expenses covered: Monthly scholarship amount.
  • Eligibility:

Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Class Students:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Economically Backward Class (EBC) category.
• Expenses covered: Tuition fees, admission fees, maintenance allowance and other allowances as per state government norms.
• Eligibility:
  • Indian citizen.
  • Passed the 10th or 12th class examination from a recognized board.
  • Annual family income not exceeding Rs. 1 lakh.
