Delhi Institute Of Pharmaceutical Sciences And Research (DIPSAR) Delhi

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) is located in Pushp Vihar, New Delhi. It was established in 1964 as a Department of Pharmacy at Kashmiri Gate Polytechnic. DIPSAR is a government institute and a constituent college of Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU).

The campus covers 10.5 acres. DIPSAR offers many programs, including Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy. The Master of Pharmacy is the flagship program. The institute has multiple departments, like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy.

DIPSAR includes a library with 17,000 books related to Pharmaceutical Sciences. It provides infrastructure with Wi-Fi connection and hostel facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The laboratories contain advanced analytical instruments.

Admissions to DIPSAR require GPAT scores. DIPSAR is recognized by AICTE and PCI and it is accredited by NAAC.

In rankings DIPSAR placed 22nd for Pharmacy in the IIRF 2023 and 25th in the NIRF Pharmacy ranking for the same year. Institute has international collaborations under UKIERI with University of Manchester and other partnerships with countries including UK, West Indies, Portugal, Malaysia, China and Philippines.
