Oriental Institute Of Science And Technology (OIST) Bhopal

The institute was established as a private body in the year 1995 by Mr KL Thakral. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwa Vidyalaya. It is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and provides both undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses.

The college has a huge campus of 51 acres and provides all sorts of modern facilities to its students such as hostel, mess, canteen, medical aid etc.

Admission process: Online and Offline.

Application fee: Rs 500 for candidates who belong to reserved categories and Rs 1000 for candidates who belong to general category. You can pay the fee by using credit card, debit card, net banking, and demand draft.

Admission Procedure

For undergraduate courses, candidates need to clear entrance exam PET or JEE and for postgraduate courses, candidates need to clear entrance exams such as GATE. Students will be selected on the basis of score secured in the respective entrance exams. Selected students will be called for counseling.

Hostel and Facilities

Campus Facilities

The college offers commendable infrastructure to its students. All the class rooms are well lit and airy. The multi storey library of the college is very well stocked with over 7000 books and 20 periodicals. Recently, digital e-journals have also been introduced in the library. Each department has its own well equipped labs.

The institution also provides transportation service to students and staffs residing nearby. The college also provides excellent sports facilities to its students both in the case for indoor and outdoor sports. The campus houses several eateries which serve tasty and nutritious meals at an affordable price.

Hotel Facilities

There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with choice of single and double occupancy rooms. The hostel promises homely stay to its residents along with round the clock security. The rooms are well lit and airy furnished with the basic amenities. The hostels are also provided with library facilities.

Each hostel has its own dining hall which ensures nutritious meal with clean and hygienic kitchens. Facilities of recreation rooms, gyms and other indoor and outdoor games are also provided. Apart from these 24 hours clean drinking water is also ensured.
