Shri Guru Ram Rai PG College, DehradunEstablished in 1960 by the great educational visionary Brahmaleen Shri Mahant Indiresh Charan Dass Ji, SGRR (PG) College is one of the best colleges of Uttarakhand.Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Trustwas established in 1952. Presently, it is running over 122 educational Institutions in North India. Uttarakhand has a literacy rate of 72.28% and Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission has made a significant contribution to it and is committed to its further improvement with the followingIn all the public schools fees are low enough to be within the reach of the common man and textbooks are provided to the students at a discount of 25%. Over 65,000 students are studying in all the institutions from primary to Ph.D. level. Gauging the dearth of professionals vis-a-vis the ongoing open economy and globalisation, in 1994 the Mission established Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Science at Dehradun with proir permission from all India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
