Lucknow Christian Degree College (LCDC), Lucknow was established in 1862.The college is affiliated to the Lucknow University. The college on the basis of the qualifications of the teaching faculty, performance in university examinations, library resources and other merits, was selected by the UGC for the college science improvement program and the college humanities and social sciences improvement program. The college strives to provide quality education to the youth, especially the Christian youth, so as to enable them to make positive contribution to Nation-building.
The aim of the college is to develop in youth a good moral character by inculcating spiritual values and the knowledge of God as revealed in the life of Jesus Christ and to lead them to God through Christ by presenting the Gospel through regular Bible study, witness and Christian testimony. The objective of the college is to provide teaching, charity and worship in accordance with the Christian beliefs and doctrines and also to extend the above facilities and opportunities to young men and women of other faiths and communities who wish to receive education in Christian environment.
Aims and objectives :
- To provide quality education to the youth, especially the Christian youth, so as to enable them to make positive contribution to Nation-building.

- To faithfully do what fulfils the motto of the college :“OMNIA AD DEI GLORIAM”– that is, ‘All to the Glory of God.’
