Gayatri Institute of Engineering and Technology got off to a spectacular start on 17th July 2009. The institution was set up by Shri Chitturi Ganeswra Rao a renowned person, an illustrious son of the soil, and the founder of the Gayatri Group, JangaReddy Gudem. The institution is sponsored by Gayatri Group of Institutions JangaReddy Gudem.

Gayatri Group has been in the existence for more than 35 years with diversified fields of business viz., Hotels, poultry, Finance, Chit fund, Real estate and construction. Gayatri Group of Institutions was established in the year 2009 for the noble cause of imparting high-quality technical education in Engineering, Technology, and Management Sciences. The ACADEMY is promoted by Chitturi Dasaratha Ram, who himself is an engineer, a very dynamic, innovative and enterprising person, committed and dedicated to the cause of education.
