What is AMITY JEE?
AMITY JEE is a national level entrance examination conducted online by Pearson VUE for AMITY for admission to various B.tech courses offered in Amity campuses present in the following cities:
- Amity University Noida
- Amity University Jaipur
- Amity University Lucknow
- Amity University Gurugram
- Amity University Gwalior
- Amity University Mumbai
- Amity University Kolkata
- Amity University Greater Noida
- Amity University Ranchi
- Amity University Raipur
Pattern of AMITY JEE 2018
The examination will be conducted in online mode only. AMITY JEE will be conducted in various shifts from 25th April – 10th May 2018. Candidates will have to appear in the allotted shift only. In an event where the candidate fails to show up for the exam, he/she will have to pay Rs 750/- for another date.
The duration of each shift will be 2 hours and questions will be asked from the following subjects divided into four sections:
- General English – 15 questions
- Physics – 25 questions
- Chemistry – 25 questions
- Mathematics/Biology – 25 questions
In Section 4, candidates will have to attempt either Mathematics/ Biology as per the eligibility of the program applied.
Candidates will have to choose paper number 4 i.e either Mathematics or Biology according to their eligibility for a particular course.
In every subject, all questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), with four options against each of the questions. Marking scheme will be as follows.
- For every correct response, 4 marks will be awarded.
- For every incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted.
- No marks will be given if multiple options are selected for a particular question.

The medium of the question paper will be in English only. Candidates can attempt sample paper of AMITY JEE to get an idea of the level of questions in the examination.
AMITY JEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Following is the laid down eligibility criteria for AMITY JEE 2018: –
- Those candidates who have secured 80% and above in their 10+2 examination from any state/central board are eligible for direct admission. They are exempted from appearing in AMITY JEE 2018.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 examination. They have to ensure their eligibility before applying for a particular course.
- Candidates must ensure that they have passed their qualifying exam in regular class mode.
- Those candidates who have a compartment in any of the subjects are not eligible for appearing in the examination.
- Appearing candidates (who are expected to pass class XII in 2018) are allowed to appear in the examination.
- Candidates have to ensure that they are in possession of 10th and 12th class certificates and mark sheet and there is no discrepancy in the required credentials.
- The candidate has to be a registered student of a recognized state or central board of education.
AMITY JEE 2018 Application Form and Submission Procedure
Candidates have the facility of applying for AMITY JEE 2018 in either online or offline mode. The online application is already available on the official site and candidates can visit this link and register themselves for examination.
For offline mode, candidates have to download the form available on the official website. They have to fill all the required information and submit it to respective campus they are applying to.
While applying for AMITY JEE 2018, candidates have to keep in mind the following points.
- Candidates must have an active email id and mobile number. This is required for making communication with the exam conducting body in future.
- There shall not be any discrepancy in the details given. All the required credentials should be according to candidate’s matriculation certificate.
- Candidates have to upload their 10th class marksheet in any one of these formats: jpg, gif, png, jpeg, bmp, pdf.
- Details once submitted cannot be altered in normal circumstances.
- Multiple registrations are to be avoided.
- Application number and account password should be carefully preserved as these will be required for keeping track of procedures related to the examination.
- Candidates have to upload their passport size photograph with the dimensions 3.5 by 4.5 cm.
- The format of the image should not be other than these:- jpg, gif, png, jpeg, bmp.
Candidates have to submit Rs 1,100/- as examination application fees. The fees can be paid by following methods:
- Debit or Credit card.
- Net Banking
- Demand Draft in favour of ‘Amity Form’ (in case of offline submission)
The fees are usually non-refundable. However, in case the amount has been deducted from a bank account and the registration was not successfully completed, the amount will be credited back to the account.
Candidates are advised to regularly visit Amity’s website for a regular update on AMITY JEE 2018. Here is the gist of the steps involved in online application:
- Fill the online/offline form with correct details.
- Upload/Paste your photograph and signature to the desired
- Complete the payment process by using a preferred mode.
- Download the confirmation page with your application number on it.
AMITY JEE 2018 Admit Card
Candidates will get to schedule or reschedule their online examination date from January 2018. For booking their respective slot for the test, they will have to first log in their account using their application number and password.
They must be in possession of their application number in order to download the admit card. Admit card will not be mailed to the candidate or no separate communication will be done regarding this. The admit card will bear the following information-
- Roll Number
- Name
- Father’s Name
- Photograph
- Date of Birth
- Examination center address
Examination center once allotted cannot be changed under any circumstance. The candidate has to appear for the examination at the allotted center only. In case they don’t show up on the selected date, they can opt for a next available date by paying fees of Rs 750/-.
AMITY JEE 2018 Admission Procedure
- AMITY JEE 2018 results will be declared on its official website. The dates for which will be announced later.
- The merit list will be purely based on the performance in AMITY JEE
- The admission letter will be issued to the selected candidates and they can download the same from the official website
- The admission letter will consist of these important details: Details regarding payment of fees at the time of admission, Allotment of hostel and date, Time and venue for commencement of the academic session
- The offer of admission will be valid only for the specific program opted by the candidate as well as for the same academic session
- Candidates will be provisionally admitted in the specified course. If laid conditions are not fulfilled then the admission will be automatically cancelled
Notification
Although no particular notification is available, the application process for the year 2018 has begun from October 2017. Candidates can fill out their application form at the official website.
AMITY JEE 2018 Syllabus

Colleges accepting AMITY JEE 2018 scores
As mentioned above, there are 10 Amity University campuses across India off which all of them accept the Amity JEE score. They are located in:

Results
The results will be available on the official website during the month of May. Last year, the results were announced in the first week of May.
AMITY JEE 2018 Cutoff
No cutoff is declared but students are allotted an admission on the rank given during the results. But to be eligible, they must meet a certain percentage of their boards based on the program they are applying for. The selection process will consist of both a test result which is followed by a GD/personal interview.
There are no reservations based on category.
Score Validity
The score/rank obtained in Amity JEE has a validity of 1 year i.e. Amity JEE 2018 result will be valid for admission during the academic year 2018 – 2019 only.

AMITY JEE 2018 Counselling Schedule
Candidates who are selected post the exam will be invited to a Group Discussion/ Personal Interview. An option of dates will be given to students to ensure flexibility. If you are not given one of your options it means all slots for that program have been filled up.
After being allotted a slot for a given program, the interview process takes place. In case of selection, students will then be given an Admission letter. Post this; candidates can proceed with the Fee payment and the rest of the admission process.
AMITY JEE 2018 Sample Paper
Candidates can visit the given link and can download the previous year papers of Amity JEE and also the sample papers related to the same. They are advised to attempt these papers before taking the actual test. This will help them to get accustomed to the level of the questions asked in the examination.
