Fee Structure of Punjab Engineering College University Of Technology (PEC) , Chandigarh

1. National Scholarship Portal:

• A portal where students can apply for various scholarships offered by central and state governments.
• Scholarships are based on different schemes such as merit-cum-means, post-matric, pre-matric, etc.
• Provides information on eligibility, application process and required documents.

1. Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC):

• For children of persons of Indian origin (PIOs) and non-resident Indians (NRIs) pursuing undergraduate courses at PEC.
• Covers 75% of the total institutional economic cost or US$ 4000 per annum, whichever is less.

1. Top Class Scheme for SC Candidates:

• For SC students admitted to PEC through JEE Main.
• Includes full tuition fee waiver, living expenses, books and stationery allowance and computer/laptop grant.
• Annual income limit for parents/guardians: Rs. 6 lakhs.

PEC also offers merit scholarships to students in the form of full or half free ships on tuition fees based on their CGPA. These scholarships are granted annually to students in each branch - 

For M.Tech students, scholarships are available based on valid GATE scores. The scholarship amount is Rs. 12,400 per month for full-time students and Rs. 5,000 per month for part-time students, with specified duties to perform.

Hostel Fee Structure-

• Refundable security (One Time Only)- Rs.6,000
• Hostel Fee & Mess Establishment charges- Rs.62,000
• Mess Advance- Rs.3,500
• Maintenance Charges- Rs.10,000

The total additional sum payable for hostel facilities is Rs.81,500.

The hostel fee includes accommodation, mess facilities and maintenance charges. Wi-Fi/internet facilities are also provided in all the hostels.

The college has four boys hostels namely- Shivalik Hostel, Himalaya Hostel, Kurukshetra Hostel, Aravali Hostel. There are two hostels for girls namely- Kalpana Chawla Hostel, Vindhya Hostel.
