PES Institute of Technology and Management started functioning in the year 2007. This private engineering college is approved by VIT, AICTE and ISO. The motto of this institute is “ Education for the real world”.

This technical educational institute is situated in Shivamogga, Karnataka and covers up quite a large area. This college has separate hostels for boys as well as girls. How to apply-

To apply online follow the steps below:

• Visit the official admission website.
• Login using JEE registration number or GATE registration number or other related registration and password
• Candidates All India Rank/score or GATE score will be displayed in read only mode
• Fill in required personal, academic and general details
• Payment of fees via an online payment gateway. Rs.2100/- for general and Rs.1050/- for SC/ST/PWD

Admission procedure-

• Appear for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) for B.Tech courses and GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering) for M.Tech courses.
• No need to apply again. Just log in using your registered JEE roll number and password.
• Fill in your choices carefully and lock them
• Seats will be allotted according to merit and student can confirm the seat by submitting the fees before prescribed time.
• Last round will be spot counseling at the college venue where the student has to be physically present and there too admission would be merit-based on the seats not filled via online counseling.

Campus Facilities

The PEC University of Technology Chandigarh is situated in the Suburban area of Punjab.

The campus is spread across 146 acres.

The campus provides facilities like library, cafeteria, sports complex, gymnasium, hospital and medical care, Wi-Fi, auditorium etc.

Hostel

The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls there are total 6 Hostel 4 for boys and 2 for girls. The rooms are shared by the students.

The hostel provides Wi-Fi connectivity and other amenities like the water purifier, recreation room, indoor sports room, common room, laundry facility etc.

The scholarships awarded to the students are based on their results or ranks which they have secured in the test. The scholarship amount may vary. It ranges from Rs 2,500 to Rs 75,000 and above.

Student Life

The campus has various cultural club and societies like The Art and Photography club, music club, dramatics club, speakers association and study circle, projection design club, Rotaract club, communication club, NCC, student counselling cell and more.

There are two main college events celebrated which are PEC Model United Nations which is a premier conference of the region and PECFEST which is an annual techno-cultural fest of PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh.
