Fee Structure of Defence Institute Of Advanced Technology, Girinagar (DIAT) , Pune

1. M.Tech Scholarships:

• Scholarship Category: Students in this category are eligible for a scholarship under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) during their M.Tech course. The current scholarship amount is Rs. 12,400/- per month.
• Self-Sponsored Category: Students in this category are not eligible for any financial support or scholarship from DIAT.

1. Ph.D Scholarships: DIAT offers three types of scholarships for Ph.D students:

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Awarded to full-time non-sponsored Ph.D students selected through an entrance test and interview conducted by DIAT. JRF provides a stipend of Rs. 31,000/- per month for the first two years and Rs. 35,000/- per month for the next three years.
• Senior Research Fellowship (SRF): Also awarded to full-time non-sponsored Ph.D students selected through an entrance test and interview. SRF provides a stipend of Rs. 35,000/- per month throughout the Ph.D program.
• Teaching Assistantship (TA): Awarded to full-time non-sponsored Ph.D students willing to assist in teaching or laboratory work. TA provides a stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month during the entire Ph.D program .

The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) is located in Girinagar in Pune. The institute has hostel facilities.

Boys and girls have separate blocks in DIAT hostel. 

The mess facilities are also available on payment basis.
