In the academic year 2022-23, the university awarded as many as 7,402 students in five different types of scholarships worth a total of 4.95 crore.

Chevening scholarships	Postgraduate students pursuing courses at Savitribai Phule Pune University	Full tuition fee waiver, travel expenses, living expenses and other costs	Must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent, must have an offer letter from a UK university, must have at least two years of work experience, must meet the English language requirements
Arthik Durbal Ghatak Scholarship	Students belonging to SC, ST, VJNT, SBC, or OBC category and pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses at Savitribai Phule Pune University	Partial or full tuition fee waiver	Must have passed the previous years examination, must fulfill the income criteria set by the scholarship program
Anuj Bidve Memorial Scholarship	Students pursuing postgraduate courses in engineering or technology at Savitribai Phule Pune University	Partial or full tuition fee waiver	Must have passed the previous years examination with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent, must belong to economically weaker sections of the society
D.K. Bhave Scholarship	Students pursuing postgraduate courses in engineering at Savitribai Phule Pune University or abroad	Partial or full tuition fee waiver, travel expenses, living expenses and other costs	Must have passed the previous years examination with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent, must have an offer letter from a foreign university

Hostel

The hostel facility is granted to the students of the University strictly on the basis of merit. The number of seats for each department depends on the department size.
