Scholarships

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/OBC Students:

Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories.
Expenses covered: Varies from Rs. 230 to Rs. 1200 per month, depending on the course and category of the student.
Eligibility:
- Domicile of Chhattisgarh.
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh for SC/ST students and Rs. 1 lakh for OBC students.
- Minimum 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme for Minority Students:

Applicable to: Students from minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis) pursuing technical or professional courses.
Expenses covered: Rs. 20,000 per annum for hostellers and Rs. 10,000 per annum for day scholars.
Eligibility:
- Belonging to a notified minority community.
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- Minimum 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination.
- Not availing any other scholarship from any other source.

Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students:

Applicable to: Meritorious undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Expenses covered: Rs. 10,000 per annum for undergraduates and Rs. 20,000 per annum for postgraduates.
Eligibility:
- Passed class XII with at least 80% marks in aggregate.
- Among the top 20% successful candidates in respective board examinations.
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakh.
