Fee Structure Of JNTUH, Hyderabad-Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University

JNTU is a public university located in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. It was founded in 1965 as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College. Under the provision of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act of 1972, it was recognized as a university. Much later in 2008, under the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, the JNTU was split-up into 4 different universities-

• Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University
• Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur
• Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad
• Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada

The University holds the motto “Yogaha Karmasu Kaushalam” which means “Gateway of Excellence”.  JNTUH is affiliated to UGC and holds ‘A’ from NAAC accreditation.  The JNTUH has following constituent colleges spread in over 100 acres of area-

The university has over 3.50 lakh students enrolled in 291 of its affiliated colleges. The JNTUH has a lot to give to the students in extracurricular too with active dance/drama/music clubs.

Hostel and Facilities

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University covers a land area of 100 acres. The campus here has a healthy atmosphere. It has an eco- friendly atmosphere. There is a big Central Library with various books for various disciplines and research purposes.

There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. The University has 4 boys’ hostels namely Godavari, Kinnera, Manjeera, Krishna and 3 girls’ hostels i.e Kamla Nehru, Gayatri and Saraswathi. The hostels are well furnished and well organized with hygienic and clean mess facilities. They also have TV rooms, gym, reading rooms available for the students. The campus also has an auditorium.

The Institute is quite supportive and organizes a lot of cultural and sports events. There are playgrounds and courts for Kabbadi, cricket, Volley ball, basketball etc. The University is known for taking initiatives to organize more events and help the students to enhance their skills.
