Institute Scholarships:

1. Merit Scholarship (VB): Awarded to students who secure 60% marks or above in each semester or year in their respective courses. The scholarship amount varies from Rs. 300 to Rs. 500 per month depending on the course.
2. Merit-cum Means (VB): Awarded to students who secure 60% marks or above in each semester or year in their respective courses and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh. The scholarship amount varies from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 per month depending on the course.

External Scholarships:

1. National Talent Scholarship (NTS): Offered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in agriculture and allied sciences at Visva Bharati. The scholarship amount is Rs. 3000 per month for undergraduate students and Rs. 5000 per month for postgraduate students.
2. National Scholarship Scheme (NSS): Offered by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to students pursuing higher education in India or abroad. The scholarship amount varies from Rs. 250 to Rs. 2000 per month depending on the course and level of study.
3. Post Matric Scholarship (PMS): Offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, to minority community students pursuing higher education in India. The scholarship covers tuition fees, admission fees, maintenance allowance and other allowances as per norms.
4. Kanyashree Prakalpa (KPP): Offered by the Department of Women Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal, to girl students pursuing higher education in West Bengal. The scholarship amount is Rs. 25000 as a one-time grant for undergraduate students and Rs. 2000 per month for postgraduate students .
