Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management is a JIS group college came into existence in 2005. This private hotel management college has been recognized by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, AICTE, UGC and WBUT( West Bengal University Of Technology).
This college provides Diploma, UG and PG degrees in various segment of Hotel Management like BA in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, MBA in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Diploma in Hotel & Hospitality Operation etc.

Gurunanak Institute of hotel management offers both the boys and girls hostels to its students. The hostel fulfills all the basic needs of the students along with 24 hours water and electricity supply. The food in the mess of the hostel is delicious and healthy; it serves four meals a day. The hostel can accommodate around 400 students. The hostel has strict rules and has Wi-Fi facilities in the complete campus. There are grounds and courts to encourage sports activities.
There is a cafeteria and a library stocked with a large number of books. The institute serves the medical conditions of the students and provides all the necessary things to keep its students healthy. Gurunanak Institute also encourages extracurricular activities and has built an auditorium.
