1. Saksham Scholarship:

• Applicable to specially-abled students pursuing technical education.
• Covers tuition fee, books and stationery allowance and living expenses.
• Eligibility criteria:
  • Admitted to a technical course through UPSEE or GATE.
  • At least 40% disability certified by a competent authority.
  • Family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakh per annum.

1. PRAGATI Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students:

• For girl students pursuing technical education.
• Covers tuition fee, books and stationery allowance and living expenses.
• Eligibility criteria:
  • Admitted to a technical course through UPSEE or GATE.
  • Only girl child or one of the two girl children in the family.
  • Family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakh per annum.

1. Scheme of 'Merit cum Means Based Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities:

• For students from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi communities pursuing technical or professional courses.
• Covers tuition fee, books and stationery allowance and living expenses.
• Eligibility criteria:
  • Admitted to a technical or professional course through UPSEE or GATE.
  • Secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination.
  • Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.

1. Scheme of 'Post Matric Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities:

• For students from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi communities pursuing higher education from class XI to PhD level.
• Covers tuition fee, books and stationery allowance and living expenses.
• Eligibility criteria:
  • Admitted to a higher education course through UPSEE or GATE or any other recognized entrance exam.
  • Secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination.
  • Family income not exceeding Rs. 2 lakh per annum.

Apart from these schemes, KNIT also offers merit scholarships based on marks obtained in qualifying and UPSEE/GATE examinations, financial aid to economically weaker students and other miscellaneous scholarships offered by private trusts/agencies .
