Ragas Dental College and Hospital is located in Chennai. It was established in 1988-89 by Dr. BP Rajan. It is a private institute is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. The college also holds recognition from the Dental Council of India and government authorities.

Ragas Dental College offers different programs, including BDS, MDS, Diploma and PhD The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is the primary course. Different departments include Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry and others.

The college has around 500 students and 10 faculty members. It provides facilities like a library, transportation, hostel services, banking and sports amenities. The college has a canteen and medical facilities on campus.

For undergraduate and Diploma course admissions candidates must have completed their 10+2 examinations. MDS candidates must have a BDS from an accredited institute. The college accepts NEET and NEET MDS for admissions.

Ragas Dental College is accredited by NAAC and was ranked 32nd in the Dental category by NIRF in 2022. 

According to NIRF reports from 2022 30 UG and 40 PG candidates were placed. The median salary offered was INR 84,000 per annum for UG and INR 5.72 LPA for PG candidates.
