Government Medical College, Mahabubnagar was established in 2016 as a government medical college. The college campus covers 50 acres.

College offers an MBBS program as its flagship course to 150 students annually. It also provides postgraduate courses like MD and MS. Institute is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal.
