Fee Structure of Laureate Institute Of Pharmacy, Kangra

1. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/OBC Students:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination and are pursuing a regular course in the institute.
• Expenses covered: Varies from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1200 per month depending on the course and category of the student.

1. Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Class (EBC) Students:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to EBC category who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination and are pursuing a regular course in the institute.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 350 per month for day scholars, Rs. 750 per month for hostellers.

1. Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students:

• Applicable to: Students who have scored more than 80% marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination and are pursuing a regular course in the institute.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 1000 per month for undergraduate students, Rs. 2000 per month for postgraduate students.

1. Laureate Merit Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students who have secured more than 75% marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination and are pursuing B. Pharmacy or B.Pharmacy Practice course in the institute.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 5000 per semester.

1. Laureate Need Based Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to economically weaker sections of society pursuing any course in the institute.
• Expenses covered: Amount decided by the management committee based on income certificate and other documents submitted by the student.

The number of scholarships offered by the institute for each course is as follows:

• D. Pharmacy: 10 scholarships
• B. Pharmacy: 20 scholarships
• B.Pharmacy Practice: 10 scholarships
• M. Pharmacy: 10 scholarships
• Ph.D.: 5 scholarships

Eligibility criteria:

• Merit-based scholarships: More than 75% marks in Class 12 (undergraduate) or more than 60% marks in graduation (postgraduate).
• Need-based scholarships: Annual income less than Rs. 2 lakhs.
