Baddi University of Emerging Science and Technologies (BUEST), formerly known as Institute of Engineering and Emerging Technologies (IEET), is a private university that is located at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. It was established in the year 2002 and was recognized as a University by UGC (University Grants Commission) in the year 2009.

The university has various colleges under its jurisdiction through which it provides Bachelor’s and Master’s degree for students. The institutes are as follows:

  • School of Pharmacy and Emerging Sciences.
  • School of Sciences.
  • School of Agriculture.
  • School of Nursing.

The campus is spread over an area of 40 acres equipped with smart classes, gym, library, hostel, basketball courts, badminton & tennis courts, football and cricket fields. The campus also offers various societies and clubs that students can join.

Candidates seeking admission have to attend the Baddi Merit Examination, and the admission procedure will start once the results are published. The University is also affliated with Association of Indian Universities.

The candidates can fill the application form via Online as well as Offline. The application form and prospectus can be downloaded from the website of the University.

The applications forms fees can be submitted by demand draft or though net banking, credit card or debit card.

Admission Procedure:

After checking the application form the authorities will prepare a merit list which will be available on the official web page of the university. There is no admission test conducted by the Baddi University.

The candidates who are selected need to appear for counselling on the mentioned date and time. They are advised to carry all the necessary documents along with them at the time of counselling, example mark sheets of all the exams, Transfer Certificate etc.

Campus Facilities

The BADDI University is located in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. It is urban campus which is spread across 40 acres of land.

The campus provides facilities like to a huge library, sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games such ascricket, football, table tennis, badminton Volleyball and athletics.

Hostel

The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Thegirl’s hostel is located on the campus whereas the boy’s hostel is located outside the campus. There are total 3 hostels, 2 for boys and 1 for girls. With spacious and ventilated rooms the hostelprovides facilities like decent storage, mess food, transportation, indoor and outdoor games club, wardens and security.

Scholarships are offered by the University to the meritorious students on the basis of their annual performance. Scholarships are distributed among three different categories academic scholarship, betiyon ki Bari and additional scholarship.

The amount of scholarship may range from 70% to 95% of the fee.

Student Life

The campus has various societies and clubs like NSS, sports club, the art of living club, music and dramatics society, fine-arts society, Manthan club, hackers club and many more.

The institute celebrates annual day fresher’s party, Emanation which is a cultural night, annual Prize Distribution, a technical event of two days. Many more such events and festivals are organized and celebrated.
