Scholarships

Students Aid Fund:

Eligibility: Given to economically backward students belonging to IRDP/BPL/Low-Income families.
Expenses Covered: Varies from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 per annum based on the course and family income.

Sports Scholarship:

Eligibility: Awarded to students from the teaching department with outstanding sports performance.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 1000 per annum for each student.

Cultural Activists Scholarship:

Eligibility: Given to students excelling in academic and cultural activities.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 1000 per annum for each student.

AP Goyal Shimla University Scholarship (affiliated to HPU):
- 75% scholarship for girls from Himachal Pradesh in the 1st semester fee.
- 75% scholarship for wards of Army/Ex-Servicemen/Martyrs/War Widows in the 1st semester fee.
- 25% scholarship for wards of University Employees in the 1st semester fee.
- 75% scholarship for differently-abled children in the 1st semester fee.

Himachal Pradesh University also offers state-sponsored scholarship schemes, including the Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chattarvriti Yojna, Swami Vivekanand Utkrisht Chhatervritti Yojna, Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chhatervritti Yojna, Maharishi Balmiki Chattarvriti Yojna and Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chhatervritti Yojna for Post Plus Two Students.
