Fee Structure of Army Institute Of Technology (AIT) , Pune

AIT provides various scholarships to its students based on merit and need. Some of scholarships are given below:

1. Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme:

• Applicable to: Dependent wards or widows of ex-servicemen admitted to the first year of any degree program at AIT.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 2,500 per month for boys and Rs. 3,000 per month for girls.
• Eligibility: Apply online on the Kendriya Sainik Board web portal .

1. Education Scholarship Scheme:

• Applicable to: Wards of serving Army personnel studying at AIT.
• Expenses covered: Varies from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 50,000 per annum based on parent's rank and student's academic performance.
• Eligibility: Apply online on the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) web portal .

1. Udchalo Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Meritorious students of AIT.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 4,00,000 per annum for 32 students (8 students from each branch).
• Eligibility: Minimum CGPA of 8.5 and no backlog required .

1. Horizon Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Deserving and needy wards of JCOs studying at AIT.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 15,000 per annum for 10 students and Rs. 25,000 per annum for 2 girl students.
• Eligibility: Minimum CGPA of 7.0 and no backlog required .

1. PRAGATI Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Girl students admitted to the first year of any degree program at AIT.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 30,000 per annum for tuition fee and Rs. 2,000 per month for incidental charges.
• Eligibility: Family income less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum .

1. SAKSHAM Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Differently abled students admitted to the first year of any degree program at AIT.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 30,000 per annum for tuition fee and Rs. 2,000 per month for incidental charges.
• Eligibility: Disability percentage more than 40%.
