Gokhale Education Society’sH.P.T. Arts and R.Y.K. Science College, Nashik was established in 1924.The college was established under the aegis of Gokhale Education Society, which wasfounded in 1918 by late Principal T.A. Kulkarni. The College offers a three tier package, beginning with the Junior college that caters to students passing out from school. The college prepared itself to meet the demands of changing world. The main principle of the college is to think globally and act locally.

The Gokhale Education Society is theonly Society managed solely by teachers. The Mission of the college is to simultaneously induct students into advanced field of thought and nourish their cultural and social sensibilities through a largely liberal education in the various sciences and the humanities and to provide a high level of training in professional skills for promoting and sustaining the industrial and academic development of Nasik region and the areas around.

Provides leadership in the harmonious development of Student's emotional, intellectual as well as professional abilities in order to promote the balanced growth of students and community. Its policy is to provide on the one hand, academic personnel of the highest cadre for educational institutions in the Nashik region and beyond, and on the other to create a high level of professional expertise in the selected fields for the flourishing industry and business houses around Nashik and beyond.

The Mission is realized by means of the following goals.
