Jabalpur Engineering College is a government institute established in 1947. The college is located in Gokulpur, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Campus spans 255 acres. 

The college offers a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in eight disciplines. It also provides nine postgraduate courses in engineering three in Applied Sciences and a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A). The B.E degree includes specializations like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Student population is approximately 1000. The faculty-student ratio is about 1-40.

Jabalpur Engineering College is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalya. It has approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

College accepts scores from entrance exams like JEE Main, MP-PET and GATE. It has a ranking of 97th by Outlook India magazine. College received "Best Government Engineering College" award from Star News for two consecutive years (2011-2012).

Placements - For placements around 60 percent of students receive offers annually. The highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Prominent recruiters include Tata, TCS, Infosys and Reliance.
