Scholarships at JEC Jabalpur

1. Saksham Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Specially abled students pursuing technical education
• Expenses covered: Tuition fee, books and stationery allowance, laptop or desktop with accessories, hostel fee and transportation charges
• Eligibility:
  • Admitted to JEC Jabalpur through centralized admission process of the state or central government
  • At least 40% disability certified by a competent authority
  • Annual family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakh from all sources
  • Not availing any other scholarship or financial assistance from any other source

1. PRAGATI Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students:

• Applicable to: Girl students pursuing technical education
• Expenses covered: Same as Saksham Scholarship
• Eligibility:
  • Admitted to JEC Jabalpur through centralized admission process of the state or central government
  • Single girl child or one of the two girl children in a family where the total number of children is not more than two
  • Annual family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakh from all sources
  • Not availing any other scholarship or financial assistance from any other source

1. Scheme of 'Merit cum Means Based Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi communities pursuing technical education
• Expenses covered: Tuition fee, maintenance allowance and hostel fee
• Eligibility:
  • Admitted to JEC Jabalpur through centralized admission process of the state or central government
  • Belonging to one of the minority communities notified by the central government
  • Annual family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh from all sources
  • Secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination

1. Scheme of 'Post Matric Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi communities pursuing technical education
• Expenses covered: Admission fee, tuition fee, maintenance allowance and hostel fee
• Eligibility:
  • Admitted to JEC Jabalpur through centralized admission process of the state or central government
  • Belonging to one of the minority communities notified by the central government
  • Annual family income not exceeding Rs. 2 lakh from all sources
  • Secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination

More Details

• State scholarships are available for welfare and promotion of ST, SC, OBC students based on caste eligibility.
• Physically challenged candidates also receive scholarships at JEC Jabalpur.
