Scholarships for Undergraduate Students:

1. Scholarship Scheme for Students of Minority Communities Pursuing Higher and Professional Education (Post-Matric):

• Applicable to: Students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis)
• Eligibility: Secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination; annual family income not exceeding Rs. 2 lakh
• Expenses Covered: Admission fee, tuition fee, maintenance allowance and other allowances

1. Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities:

• Eligibility: Similar to the above scheme
• Expenses Covered: Admission fee, tuition fee and maintenance allowance

1. Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to minority communities
• Eligibility: Secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination; annual family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh
• Expenses Covered: Admission fee, tuition fee and maintenance allowance
• Awarded to 30% of students in each course

1. Financial Support to the Students of NER for Higher Professional Courses (NEC Merit Scholarship):

• Applicable to: Students from the North Eastern Region (NER) pursuing professional courses (engineering, medical, management, etc.)
• Expenses Covered: Admission fee, tuition fee, hostel fee, book grant and travel expenses

1. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students:

• Eligibility: Passed Class XII with at least 80% marks; annual family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakh
• Expenses Covered: Rs. 10,000 per annum for the first three years; Rs. 20,000 per annum for the fourth and fifth year of study

1. Scholarship Scheme for State Minority Communities:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to minority communities
• Eligibility: Secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination; annual family income not exceeding Rs. 6 lakh
• Expenses Covered: Tuition fee and exam fee

1. Post Matric Scholarship to OBC Students:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC)
• Eligibility: Secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination; annual family income not exceeding Rs. 1 lakh
• Expenses Covered: Tuition fee and maintenance allowance
