Malinenilakshmaiah Women’s Engineering College is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada and its courses are AICTE approved. It had been ranked the 6^th best engineering college in the state and the 84^th best engineering college in India by NIRF. The students of the college participate in leading technological events thereby ensuring that it becomes an engineering college of repute.

B. Tech courses are offered in the fields of-

• Computer science and engineering
• Electronics and communication engineering
• Electrical and electronics engineering
• Information technology.

Admission to these courses is based on the EAMCET entrance examination.

M. Tech courses are offered in-

• VLSI design
• Computer science and engineering

Admission is based on the PGECET entrance examination.

The college also offers a two year MBA course for which admission is made based upon the ICET entrance examination.

The college has separate hostels for both boys and girls, the hostels are well furnished and have their own dairy and mineral water plant. The college has an enormous library with numerous books and journals.

The college has a dedicated training and placement cell. Students have been recruited by the following companies- Virtusa Polaris, HCL, CSS Corp, Allsec Technologies, Amazon and Genpact.

Around 15000 volumes of books are encompassed around an area of 4000 sq. Ft. in the library which can accommodate 180 students at a time. The computer laboratory has around 360 systems consisting of various hardware and software.

Certified courses are affiliated to the students through the Authorized Learning Centre PGRR Centre for Distance Education, Osmania. E-classrooms with internet facilities are also given to the students.

The cafeteria helps in providing food to the visitors apart from the students and the staffs. The food served is fresh and planned keeping in mind about the student’s preference.

The transporting routes to the college are provided from Chilakaluripeta, Parchuru and Guntur.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

The hostels are located in the campus though they are separate for the gents and the ladies. The installation of dairy farm and mineral water plant helps to improve the health of the boarders. There is provision residential lecturers and strict security is maintained.
