National Institute of Fashion Technology has a campus in Mumbai too. This Mumbai campus started functioning in the year 1995. It an autonomous body.
This institute campus is situated in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai and its campus is spread over a large area. It is surrounded by a lash of greenery. The entire campus is WiFi enabled. All classrooms are AC.
Besides that, there is a library which has a huge collection of books, national and international journals, different labs, Cafeteria, Design studio, ramp room, video conference room, open-air recreational space etc. It provides hostel facility to both boys and girls students. There is a shuttle service and ATM too. Moreover, it provides very good placements. Arvind Mill, Globes etc are some of the top recruiters.
It offers 23 courses all are fashion and design related. It provides Bachelor degrees Post Graduation degrees, Certificate and Diploma programmes in fashion and design field. Master of Fashion Management, BFTech in Apparel production, Certificate in Creative Fashion style etc are some of them.
NIFT conducts its own entrance exam for all courses.
