Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) began to function in the year 2003, at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The institution is accredited by the NBA and the courses have been approved by the AICTE.

The College is one of the few in India to be accredited by the TCS and ESSAR. For the welfare of students, the college has come up with language labs, skill and personality development classes and has also tied up with corporate and industries for academic benefits.

The institution has undergraduate and postgraduate academic courses for the following:

• M.Tech – Machine Design / CSE / Digital Communication

The College offers admissions for the above mentioned programs through a counseling process and screens students based on their 10+2 marks (for UG) and college performance (for PG).

How to Apply

The application process is conducted online. Candidates have to register on the online portal, fill in the form with all relevant details and upload a soft copy of all relevant documents, and finally submit the form. A bank challan for the application fee will be generated upon successful submission, which applicants must download and submit in the bank (transaction details must be obtained and kept safely). The receipt must then be uploaded onto the online admission portal in order to complete the application process.

A counselling and allotment process will follow the candidate’s application, in order to determine whether the candidate is given admission into the college or not.

Admission Procedure

Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is granted on the basis of merit (10+2 marks with minimum 70% in PCM and/or Bachelor’s degree), as well as scoring/rank in course-specific entrance examinations such as the JEE-Mains and the GATE exams.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

IIST provides top class hostel facilities to its students. It has separate arrangement for boys and girls with both the hostels having a capacity of more than 250 students.

Each room is shared by three students and is equipped with modern amenities as well as attached bath and toilet. There is one boy’s hostel and one girl’s hostel, the fee per year is around INR 85,000-1,00,000.
