National Merit Scholarships:

Awarded by the Government of India to students who secure high ranks in national-level entrance exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, CAT, etc.
Eligibility: Students who excel in national entrance exams.

State Merit Scholarships:

Awarded by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to students with high ranks in state-level entrance exams like EAMCET, ECET, ICET, etc.
Eligibility: Students who perform well in state entrance exams.

Institute Merit Scholarships:

Awarded by PITS to students with high academic marks.
Example: B.Tech students with 90% or above marks in semester exams receive Rs. 10,000 per annum as scholarship.

Need-Based Scholarships:

Awarded by PITS to economically weaker students.
Scholarship amount depends on family income and assets.
Example: Students with family income less than Rs. 2 lakh per annum receive Rs. 5,000 per annum as scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission to PITS courses is based on entrance tests or merit in qualifying exams.
AP EAMCET 2023 minimum qualifying marks are required for admission.
Seats are categorized as 70% category A seats and 30% management quota seats.
